I didn’t put how much of each ingredient, as it depends how many pieces of french toast your making. I usually make this recipe just for one, so its one egg, 1 tab Greek yogurt, etc.
Cheese Stuffed French Toast
whole grain bread
eggs
Greek yogurt
vanilla
butter
cinnamon
white Stilton with apricots or any other kind of white Stilton
fancy maple syrup, not the cheap stuff
Mix the eggs, Greek yogurt, vanilla and cinnamon. dredge the bread in egg. Fry in the butter. When you flip the bread over, layer slices of the cheese over the bread slice. Serve with maple syrup. Best french toast ever!
Mountain Woman Granola
1 cup honey roasted cashews
2 cups oatmeal
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
Cinnamon
Mix all together, bake on a cookie sheet at 325 fifteen minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. Do not let the edges burn
French Toast Souffle
1 cup cream cheese
2 tsp vanilla
1 package croissants, baked, cut into pieces
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
6 eggs
3 tab. milk
1 tab cinnamon
Mix the cream cheese, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon and brown sugar. In a separate bowl mix the eggs and milk. In a big pan layer croissants, cream cheese, and eggs. Put this bowl in a water bath and bake one hour at 350.
Breakfast Pizza
1 pizza dough
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
5 eggs
bacon, cooked and chopped
smoked Gouda or sharp cheddar cheese
Mix the eggs and Greek yogurt in a bowl, microwave, stirring once for 2-3 minutes until the eggs have a scrambled consistency. Roll out the pizza dough. Top with the eggs and the bacon. Cook the pizza according to the directions on the dough, usually about 20-25 minutes at 375.
Corned Beef Hash Casserole
corned beef, chopped up
red potatoes
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
6 eggs
dill
sharp cheddar cheese
Mix the eggs, Greek yogurt and dill. Poke a few holes in the potatoes and microwave three minutes until soft. Slice potatoes. Layer all ingredients in a pan, eggs on top, cheese on top of eggs. Bake at 375 25 minutes until the cheese is brown and the eggs are set.
Breakfast Burritos
Chorizo
whole grain tortillas
2 eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
cilantro
corn
sharp cheddar cheese
sour cream
your favorite salsa
Mix the eggs and Greek yogurt. Cook omelet style in a frying pan. Add the Chorizo and the corn. Put in the tortilla with the rest of the ingredients.
