What does New Year’s mean to me?
It means it took about ten hours of 2012 for me to flip off my first person.
Seriously?
25 miles an hour with fifty cars behind you means you can meet my middle finger.
And I know for a fact that man knew exactly what I called him through his open window as I gunned the engine of my Subaru, middle passing lane, sun roof open, white P90X ignored once muscular arm shoved out the window.
Yes, its 2012 and maybe my New Year’s Resolution should be to flip off less people or be less road rage-y, but that’s not it at all.
My New Year’s Resolution is to start running five and ten K’s and get even more fit than I was in 2011. I already eat pretty healthy, but I’m over thirty now and not getting any younger and I need to step up this routine and run five miles every day if I want to do these races and not have real athletes laugh their toned asses off at me.
New Year’s Resolution number two, get the book into the book. And then get the book published – even if it means looking into the best self publishing companies! I hope be done with the book late September. That is the goal.
I also have been planning a ton of stuff I want to do to the house, I’m sure shenanigans are sure to follow, and I will be writing about them for sure. I almost bought a couch New Year’s Eve actually, but wasn’t sure how and if it would fit into the back of my Subaru Baja, and the sale ends tomorrow so it looks like I’m couch less one more week at least. Back to Craigslist, yea.
So instead of assembling a new couch on New Year’s Eve, I spent it snuggling on another couch with my sweet heart. New Year’s Eve was fun, relaxing, just watching a great movie, Limitless, with my man. A nice way to ring in the New Year ahead of me.
