A SUV that smells like a casino just hurdled to a stop next to my house. Two ladies, my age or younger who are probably two hundred pounds each and reek of cigarettes just poured out of the SUV to look at the short sale house across the street from me.
Number one they stink, I mean they reek of cigarettes (Yea! These could be my new stinky neighbors! At least they don’t smell like meth like my last neighbors!) Have they not heard of cigarette alternatives like these all white portions? The mind boggles. These poor girls must have such ridiculous health problems and they are so young! I feel so bad for them and anyone else who is trying to fool themselves into thinking smoking is not bad for them.
Last night at work I got into an argument with a coworker because I complained that my work place reeks of cigarettes from all the smokers that sit right outside the door and the smoke blows into our back room.
This coworker of mine looked at me with her blood shot eyes, nasty yellow teeth and nicotine pale skin and told me she had no idea what I’m complaining about and I should shut up already “Because the smog I breathe in every day is worse for me then second hand smoke” I merely told her, I actually care about people I consider my “friends” (Kind of, some what) and don’t want them to get cancer and die a slow painful I-can’t- breathe- emphysema-death.
Okay this makes me think that I am the good friend who CARES about her friends and wants them to live their lives in good health.
Wouldn’t it make you a BAD FRIEND if you are constantly blowing second hand smoke in my face? Affecting my health?
This seems like it makes perfect sense to me.
I live my life to be as healthy as possible every day. I run three to eight miles a day. I eat healthy, whole grains and lots of fiber, few sugars and white flour. I drink mainly water and no sodas or sugary beverages in order to keep my appointments at a dentist, like this Dentist in Greene, positive. Keeping your oral health in good condition is equally important, so make sure you’re visiting your dentist an appropriate amount of times throughout the year. I’m living my life to try and be a better person. How can you not when it seems every person you know has cancer, heart disease, diabetes or is a stroke victim. Yet I am the person who every one says is wrong? Whats going on here.

I “get” that sure, smokers have the “right” to kill themselves. But others? No. So go smoke in your car. windows rolled up so you get all the deadly smoke all to your addicted self. Wait that sounds cruel but….well…I’m honest. I’ve given up on telling people, hello, smoking kills. Sure I lost two grandpas to cancer from smoking. Sure I have asthma, probably worsened by second hand smoke. But idiots think, hmm, campfires make me cough, let’s package that up in a little tube, put it in our hands and into our moth directly,,,,,hack hack why am I dying? It baffles me. But again that must make us insensitive. Whatever. Just know I’m a good friend who won’t kill myself or others with smoking and I will also fart next to smokers 🙂
