Morning run to Holcomb Valley on a spring morning.
The sun is just rising over the horizon as I ran two miles up Juniper covered trails to the Pacific Crest Trail.
I ran the PCT across the desert like back rim of the mountains near Big Bear.
The Forest was completely silent except for the sounds of nature and a lot of birds. I didn’t see a single person on the trail for four hours.
View of Big Bear Lake in the distance from the top of Cougar Crest.
That is not snow; that is a Boran Mine, shining white in the hills; forgotten Holcomb Valley is visable below in the break in pines.
