There is a dirt road that I like to run down in the winter months.
It hugs the cliffs and muddy edges of the National Forest.
Hawks fly through the treetops and deer scamper about in the Manzanita bushes.
I rarely see these creatures, all I see for the most part is the tracks that the bobcats leave in the wet mud.
Today I watched this Cooper Hawk chilling in a tree top and than took this picture just as he took flight.
