Big Bear’s back road expert

I have been exploring the backcountry of Big Bear Lake for the last twenty years. Let me show you the best of the backroads and wilderness Big Bear Lake has to offer. A fantastic year-round way to spend an afternoon in Big Bear is being ferried into the wilderness in my air-conditioned four-wheel drive vehicle. We can stop anywhere you want to hike around and take scenic photos. Amateur photography is a passion of mine and I don’t mind taking as many photos of your group as you like.

Big Bear Lake, A year-round paradise

Big Bear Lake is beautiful year-round. My favorite time of year for Jeep tours is in the winter. The snowy back roads are just so beautiful. I also love autumn Jeeping. Big Bear Lake is a gorgeous place, only two hours from Los Angeles, to experience the oranges and yellows as our Black Oaks change into a rainbow of fall colors.

Lunchtime in the middle of nowhere!

Our Jeep tours take place all over the backcountry of Big Bear Lake. Each Jeep tour includes a lite charcuterie lunch and beverages. I offer keto, vegan and gluten-free options on request.

Dogs and children are encouraged on my Jeep tours. Dogs must be well-behaved and stay in the back cargo area of the vehicle or be in a crate. I do charge a cleaning fee of twenty dollars for dogs that shed.

Children are allowed as long as they are over the age of 4. There are so many fun boulders for kids to climb on and explore on these Jeep tour experiences! I’m also a nature guide and oh so happy to point out all our unique forest features: the different pine trees that grow in this forest, the edible plants, and the animals who call this forest their home. I’m an expert on the unique history of the Big Bear Valley and love to enthrall visitors with tall tales from the gold-mining days, how we once had Grizzly bears hiding in these mountains, and how Big Bear was settled.
