Yes, it is official, I have become that crazy cat lady! I just made home made cat food. I have a very good reason. My one cat is super sensitive and has horrible allergies so I’m switching him over to holistic cat food and also starting to make some of his food from scratch with no wheat or soy ingredients. A friend of mine even told me about food similar to KittyWire that I could use as inspiration. Making your own home made cat food is extremely easy. Getting your finicky cats to eat the home made cat food is another matter entirely.
Home Made Cat Food
1 cup chicken, poached and shredded
1 cup chicken liver, baked
1 large sweet potato
1 carrot
1 cup cooked spinach
Bake the livers, sweet potato and the carrots on a cookie sheet at 375 for 40 minutes. Let all ingredients cool down and take the meat of the sweet potatoes and the rest of the ingredients and put all in a food processor. Grind up and terrify your pets with the noise. Serve this homemade cat food to them on a silver platter and hope your cats do not turn their noses up at it.
Later that night….
Well, of course the cat who does not have the allergies loves the homemade cat food and Sierra (The oozy cat) doesn’t care at all. Asshole.

How do I measure 1 cup of chicken?
I just made a similar recipe out of my head without the liver and spinach, so I’m going to add them.
What I’m not sure about are the proportions of each ingredient of what I used, so hopefully it is good enough.
Cheers 🙏
