I ran Glory Ridge on a snowy November morning last week.
It was such a gorgeous morning run.
All the pines were still covered in snow on the hilltops up near Butler’s Peak.
We only got a couple of inches of snow, but it was enough to make the mountains so pretty on this autumn morning.
Running in the snow was an adventure; there was just barely enough snow not to snow shoe, but still enough snow to make running a little slippery.
I just ordered new ice cleats for winter running, as as I ran down the very steep Glory Ridge Road I was so wishing Fed Ex had delivered them already.
