From last weeks blogs; adventures in San Diego….
Last night was the best night of “work” ever.
My best friend and I have been staying in a comped room at the Marriott for four days.
In this time we have not paid for a Mai Tai or a Pina Colada or a glorious blue cheese basted burger.
Life is good this week; life is damn good!
My friend is one of two photographers for a convention hosted at the San Diego Marriott and I am her “assistant” for the week, meaning I assist holding her free mai tais that just keep coming and some times I hold the cameras.
Mainly I just go to the beach in the morning and go for a run while she goes to the boring convention during the day, than we reconvene at the pool in the afternoon for a few pina coladas and some spa time before the evening festivities at the Wave House on the beach.
We had such a epic great time last night and we were working! Every night should be like this!

At that point I am on my game and I hold those cameras like a pro and even fetch more mai tais when hers runs low and I am the best damn camera holder around.
The Wave House last night was an awesome, awesome experience and any one who visits San Diego should check it our for sure.
It’s a club that sits right on the beach. There are all kinds of outdoor lounges and tables set up.
The cool thing about the Wave House is they have this awesome wave machine where you can actually surf when you get tired of drinking!
Or if you are responsible you can just enjoy craft beer and mai tais and watch people surf.
We had such a epic great time last night and we were working! Every night should be like this! We of course had to take many picture in the photo booths; like this one with my friends boss for the event.
