Trout and Sweet Potato Cat Food

Today I caught the biggest fish of my life. What do you do with the biggest fish ever to be caught on Big Bear Lake? Well you obviously make homemade trout cat food!
I try to eat extremely healthy and processed junk food is not the kind of diet that fuels my body. Why would I feed my animals the kind of crap that fills all those giant cheap bags of processed pet food you see on sale at the grocery store? All those cheap processed pet foods are 90% corn based and lets face it; Yes, corn does taste delicious but there is nothing healthy about corn! It is just a cheap GMO filler!
So that’s why I was so happy to catch some big ass fresh mountain trout this morning.
And just maybe I met the man of my dreams also but more on that later.

I have told every single person I meet about the thirty foot fish I caught today.
No, that was not a typo.
The fish just gets bigger with every time I tell the story.

We were trolling for trout this morning on a beautiful summer morning on Big Bear Lake.
Twenty minutes into this morning of fishing good times I had a twenty five pound mammoth of a trout on my line and I wrestled in him into the boat.
It was glorious.
This was seriously the best day of fishing I have ever had.

In two hours I caught four fish and another one was very good sized, about 22 inches.
My cats are eating good tonight!
