Silver Cow Bells

A Christmas song about our pre Christmas holiday at Jungle Retreat. This is what you do for fun when you have no t.v. very little internet and spend your evenings at the bar with Nala the cat and some cocktails.

Is there a better way to spend a pre-holiday evening?

Silver Cow Bells

Silver cow bells

Soon it will be time for venison vindaloo

Ring-a-ling, (ring-a-ling) hear them ring (ting-a-ling)

Soon it will be time for the cows to eat trash

Jungle Retreat sidewalks, stony sidewalks

Covered with grazing spotted deer

In the air there’s a feeling of tuskers

Otis the goat passing

Meeting spotted deer after spotted dear

And on every stone pathway you hear

Silver cow bells, (silver cow bells) silver cow bells (silver cow bells)

It’s Venison time at the Jungle Retreat

Ring-a-ling, (ring-a-ling)

Hear them ring, (hear them ring)

Soon it will be Christmas day

Elephants with erections,

monkeys throwing poo, even a blown gasket or two

Cattle drinking from pools

As Nala the cat hangs out at the bar

Hear the peacocks sing,

What a magical time the Jungle Retreat brings

relax at the watering hole

this is Christmas time in the jungle.
