Lamb Burgers with Spicy Feta Mayo

I’m having a love affair with Daphne’s Greek Cafe right now.
The closest Daphne’s to me is actually forty five minutes away and I have been finding excuses to drive forty five minutes to Ontario for the past two weeks.
Daphne’s has the best homemade pitas and their burger are served on this pita bread with their house made spicy feta mayonnaise.
After a six mile run in the morning I am craving real food, not smoothies and this lamb burger tastes great!
Lamb Burgers with Spicy Feta Mayonnaise
1 cup ground lamb
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup mayo
3-7 dashes your favorite hot sauce ( I used Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Sauce)
4 whole wheat flat breads
Butter lettuce
Sprouts
Mix the lamb, oregano, garlic salt and liquid smoke.
Form into patties and BBQ until cooked both side.
Warm each flat bread on the BBQ.
Mix the feta, crumbled, mayo and hot sauce.
Top the flat bread with a patty, mayo, lettuce and sprouts. Add the other half of flat bread and serve.
