Have a Little Faith…

Cause when the answers that you know just prove you wrong,
Gotta have a little faith to fall back on
And then all that you’ve got left is being strong,
Gotta find a little faith to fall back on

These days I’m not sure if I know
What I’m doing here or where I’ll go
But, every night I say the same old prayer:

“God, I don’t have to see you. I know that you’re there
Cause there were times I thought I wouldn’t make it home
But I kept a little faith to fall back on.
Yeah, and I’ve learned to put my trust where it belongs
And I’ve gotta little faith to fall back on.”

Hunter Hayes, Gotta Have a Little Faith to Fall Back On

Some days I just feel so thankful and blessed for every single small moment in my life. Every day just seems to get better and better and I am so very lucky to be living this life today. Just like any body, some times we all go through hard times, but right now it just seems like everything is going so good for me. I’m so blessed every minute, I don’t know how I really deserve to be living this life.
The other day, I was in Von’s and my bags broke, my vinegar and peppercinis in glass tumbled to the floor and didn’t even break the glass of either. What kind of luck is that? Okay my luck did not prevail two days later at the track, but still, that was the fault of my cell phone provider, who shall remain nameless (Verizon! Ass Hats!, wops, snuck out!) Not getting my 15-1 shot win bet in on time when my Smart phones Internet frooze up. Yeah, the two won, and my buddy Robert had him to win, and because of Verizon’s incompetence I did not. Boo.
My point is, even when bad things happen, I can’t get mad, I know it will work it self out in the end. Like me hitting the pick six at the Breeder’s Cup next week? I hope?
Its fall now, and I try to spend my days hiking the trails, although I have spent a sun set or two out in the high desert, watching the sun set early into the pink hills of the Cajun Pass. As the sun dips down below the high desert mountains and I feel the chill cutting into my fleece and with it winter soon to come on strong,  as much as I absolutely adore the cold crisp winter months, fires burning every night, snow shoeing on the empty mountain trails and wearing my Ugg’s absolutely every where, I can not wait for the amazing spring time I’m going to have a head of me and taking a few much needed vacations.
I hope my days can keep going on like this, going to work with a spring in my step and glory in my heart; I can’t wait for the year to come. Its going to be glorious.
