Get out of this Town

I need to get out of this town!
The restaurant across the street from me has had a broken fan for days and the noise is epically loud.
   It is making me crazy.
I live in the forest because I like the peace and the quiet. I love the pine trees, the deserted trails the squirrels and the raccoons.
Wait maybe I don’t love the raccoons.
   At least not today.
The fan across the street has been whining loudly for days and it’s been hot up here for the mountains ( A hot mountain summer day is above eighty degrees) So I have all the doors open to let the cool breeze (And the noise!) into my cabin.
I can not wait for tomorrow when I leave on vacation; six days of back packing, fishing, hiking and running mountain trails in the Sierras with friends will make a great birthday celebration. (And I will not be listening to the wack wack wack of a broken fan twenty four seven!)
As much as I love furry forest pests, I do hope there are no raccoons in the Sierras. At least no loud ones like the family that played in my yard until five a.m. when I gave up on sleep and decided to go run four miles in the forest. I can’t believe I even put up with that instead of looking to the services of this pest control company Roanoke or a similar alternative that would have been of some help, I’m sure. Nevertheless, hopefully, I won’t have any need for such services in the Sierras
My Subaru is packed with the camping gear, Kelty pack, fishing stuff and a cooler full of tasty snacks for the road.

When I wake up at three a.m. Sierras here I come!
