Floppy Bulls, Steer Pizzle and Brownie Sundaes (And a recipe for one of those!)

NaBloPoMo 2011

Never introduce yourself on a first date by saying
“Hi. I’m sorry I smell like cat food”
Even if you really do smell like cat food and you have a really good reason for it. (Like you stopped to feed your neighbors cat on the way to meet some hot guy for coffee and for some reason hand sanitizer does not muffle the smell of putrid ocean fish, it just intensifies it).
So that was my morning.
Than I almost stepped on another snake. This time it was only a Gardner Snake, yea.
On my morning runs I have seen a ridiculous amount of snakes this year, weird.

So after the run I decided to embarrass myself by smelling like a crazy cat lady. I was going on a first date with this guy and I thought why not embarrass myself more than usual and where a cowgirl outfit.
Oh yeah, yesterday was Halloween, BTW.
As my friends are quick to point out, I do tend to dress like a cowgirl most days.
I love Halloween; I love to dress in a ridiculous way and NOT look out of place,
So I wore my cowgirl costume, we ate sushi, talked about Tennessee Walking horses, and than it was off to work for an eight hour shift where I tried to wear the rest of my costume, the mechanical bull part, but the fan to blow it up had a poor design and did not work well.

That’s why in every picture my bull looks kind of… Floppy.
Oh! Fun fact of the day! Things I learned at work last night! Steer pizzle is steer penis… Yes that dog “treat” you just bought your dog is..a…ummm… Anyways.
And that was my Halloween;
Floppy bulls, Steer Penis, sushi, and oh yeah, I made brownie sundaes for our crew at work last night… and than I ate three servings.
Have I mentioned Brownie Sundaes are delicious?

Brownie Sundaes

TJ’s Gluten Free Brownie Mix
(Made acorrding to directions, you will need 1 egg, canola oil and H20)

1 bag dried cherries
1 cup walnuts
fudge sauce
whipped topping
carmel sauce
vanilla ice cream

Mix the brownies according to directions, adding the cherries. Put the nuts on top and bake
thirty minutes. Let cool for ten minutes and top with the vanilla ice cream, fudge sauce, carmel and whipped topping.

Do not eat three servings, like I did.
BTW, spell check wanted to change carmel to camel, which would make a completely different type of sundae.
It would smell like camels, ew.
